It's July 1st. You know what that means. 101 days until Kona. I got this little note in the mail as a reminder. Thanks, Travis!

July 1st means my preparations for Kona officially kick off. No more late night bed times, no more skipping workouts to go play with Chris, no more unnecessary trips to Big Dipper ice cream, and the man-cave fridge contents are being replaced with Gatorade instead of Moose Drool beer. Having spent the early part of my season side-lined has allowed me to focus a lot more on Kona this year. I am really excited to go back and have a repeat performance of last year - only hopefully better!

I spent last week preparing to prepare. Plane tickets are bought. Condo is booked. Super-fans are arranged. See you on September 4th, Kona!
